5-a-Day Reading Promise

Starting in September we would like everyone of our Nursery and Reception classes to have access to 5 stories a day. Four of these stories will be delivered at school via a range of different books, songs, poems and nursery rhymes. We want to help all our children fall in love with reading.

The fifth story of the day is the child's bedtime story and is the responsibility of a family member. We really hope you can help your child meet  their 5-a-Day Reading Promise every day after school. 

In September we will be holding some bedtime story reading sessions in our new library and would welcome you to come along. If you are struggling for books why not pop along to Winton library and spend a couple of hours enjoying reading with your child.

We also have a range of Reading Buddies who support younger children to develop their love of reading.
